I have moved upto 2000 levels and in the process accumulated more than 1000 gold. When I attempted to save progress by signing in, only the level was saved. My accumulated gold was lost, please help in restoring the gold accumulated.

You're not the first person to lose gold bars (or even levels) upon "saving their progress".
Do you remember getting this troublesome pop-up? 🤔
Anyway, were you not previously signed into your game account? Like, constantly signed in and connected to the Internet? I doubt you played 2ooo levels without creating an account.
