New Landscape changes on Candy Crush Saga

I have been playing Candy Crush for more than 11 years & usually play on my iPad, since the new changes I am not able to play my game on portrait which is frustrating, when the adds are on I need to put my iPad from landscape to portrait again to view. This I find very annoying, why is it that we now don’t have a choice/ option to play how we like on our devises? I am not sure why these changes make the game more enjoyable, for me and I know from my other piers we are not liking the changes we find it very frustrating. Give us the opportunity to play it both portrait & landscape on our devises, bring back the enjoyment back & not the frustration.Thank you
