either the last cherry didn’t drop out , or I got it to the bottom and it didn’t come off the counter in order to pass level. I used 3x saves costing 51 gold bars and lost my streak on level 3943 because of this. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

This is a known bug, I'm afraid.
Can someone explain this screenshot?
It sometimes feels like last cherry won't drop if you start the level with a big bang on your first move. It's just a hunch though. So, if possible, try and do something less potent at the start.
As for the other issue - where cherry would remain on the board or candies won't match - can't advise you on that one. If you have spare gold bars, you could buy moves and the cherry would disappear or candies would get matched automatically.
If you have screenshots, you can write to Support and ask them to give you your gold bars back. Hopefully, they will acknowledge it wasn't your fault, although I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

Since the new update I think today as it looks a bit different, every time I play a level a booster gets taken automatically it checkmarks itself anyone else noticed this?
