Can’t log in to my account on iPad - Anyone else have this issue?

I can’t log into my account on my iPad which I’ve used for a long time to play on. I have the latest updates, my WiFi is working fine, I’ve restarted everything, I have logged in fine on my phone and I have reset my password but it still does not work on my iPad. As you can see below I have a lot of inventory I do not want to lose and this inventory does not show up on my phone when I log in..!

The message I get on my iPad is.. There was a connection error, please try again in a bit.
