Been playing for years, never had to make a purchase, I made my first purchase last week, I wanted to try and make semi finals if tournament, since then I have managed to pass 3 levels, and since I made the purchase I have stopped receiving ads, let’s be honest, although a pain sometimes with repetitive ads, they do help all get through the levels. It’s maybe a coincidence that since my first payment the game has totally changed, to the point that I will be deleting very soon unless I start making progress again. Seems to me that once you make a payment all ads stop, thus trying to force you into buying more lives or gold bars etc. very poor show indeed. Anyone else had the same problem?

Yes! Exactly the same thing happened to me. Played for years, broke down a couple of weeks ago and made a purchase, haven't been offered an ad since. They will never get another dime from me, very frustrating. I was hoping it was a coincidence and I'd start seeing them again, but not so far. Some folks said it might be paused temporarily due to the tournament which kinda makes sense, I'm hoping. But I totally feel your pain!
