Because they are a bunch of jerks that do not care what the players / customers want.

Get rid of Candy Royale! Stop forcing us to play just bcz developers see low participation. Let those participants that want to play to do so and those that don't to have the option not to participate. By forcing us to play, only benefits the developers who want credit for players having to participate. There is nothing interesting about the game bcz you HAVE to play so many levels before you are given the option to OPT OUT. Low participation is the only reason why you FORCE a person to play.

Why has Candy Crush made participation in Candy Royale mandatory. Bring back the opt out options, the X and Not Now. You are going to lose players because it's not fun anymore ☹

well, the only temporary workaround I have managed is to turn off my Internet data and play like a normal person every time I get this horrible forced “feature”
just a thought though, imagine how many people press X so that the team had to make this mandatory. Maybe you realize that this is not something the players want 🥹 you might actually lose more money in the long run. just saying………

Gee... if you're going to MAKE us play that stupid candy Royale game you could at least give a prize that's worth plying for. Even IF you make to the end, you only get... maybe...20 good bars... that's so worth the frustration (sarcasm).
Please take this stupid sub game away or I'm going away.

Agree. Maybe should set a minimum of 30 or 50 gold bars.
Since the Candy Royale's reappearance in my game, I only manage to get a meagre 11 to 15 gold bars each time. After my last win of 12 gold bars, the Candy Royale somehow disappeared from my game in the past few days.
Good riddance to bad rubbish?
