Posts needing approval

Hi I'm really fed up that you can't send a reply any more in this community without it being sent for approval and then taking forever to appear, by which time it is no longer of interest or help. I DO care about my grammar and spelling, so if I find an error in my post I like to edit it out. The moment I do the system refuses to send it. It is ridiculous. If any moderators read this please can someone look into it? Harmless well meaning posts shouldn't need approval just because I edit out one single word. Once.

Thanks for replying so swiftly, @Diamond_Lim but I only changed one word like "it" to "they", something really simple and not offensive. I do believe it is the fact THAT I am editing, rather than what is written in my post.

I think some words cannot be used like Rxyalty (x-o), Mxssy (x-e),..., it means when you post / edit these some words, the comments will be waiting approved (but cannot be posted up yet). After the comments can be approved by CM, the comments will be saved and posted up.

So you try typing another words then we hope your comments can be posted / edited up successfully. Hope these answers! 😉

@Diamond_Lim @Novapichu Could one of the moderators look into this please? I have found a few times recently that my posts, especially if they are replies to other players, disappear if I edit them. By this I mean they appear in the community as posted, but if I then read it a minute or two later and spot a simple mistake, like a missing word, edit it out by using the "Edit, Day 1" feature ( The three dots up in the right hand of each post) then, all of a sudden, it needs approval and disappears. This seems just nonsense. Just because I make one grammar or spelling correction, suddenly my post needs approval when before it was posted with no problems. I would appreciate if you could look into this and get it changed. Thank you.

Hello @christinewupp I don't think it is the editing that is causing your posts to be sent for approval as sometimes I edit my posts more than once in quick succession and I can still save it.

I can't imagine what is going on though as if you are editing a post it must mean that the original post was acceptable.

I have had posts sent for approval and as you rightly say the system is extremely flawed. Either they show up far too late, or they never show up.

The problem is due to how poorly things are run around here you don't know if your post broke a rule or the Moderators are just not doing their jobs correctly. Afterall it shouldn't take more than an hour for your post to be approved let alone a couple of days. It is a shame Moderators have all the time they need to take part in counting games, but less time to respond to flagged posts and approval requests.

At the very least you will have to tag a CM or Moderator as otherwise they will just ignore your post.
