Weekly Episode Race- Gold bars only now for 1st place- others chocolate bombs
Hi I noticed today in the Weekly Episode Race that the level of rewards has changed.
Now only 1st place wins Gold bars - the remaining players will receive chocolate bombs- no longer 5 gold bars for 2nd place and 1 gold bar for the other 3 players.
Why was this change made? And why?
Most of us rely on winning gold bars in the weekly race, it was a good
it is very disappointing 😢

Same here Cat, my Episode Race was changed so that if I finish in any position other than first my reward is a Colour Bomb.
No one here will tell you why the the change was made, but we can all guess.
My guess is that the change is designed to make those people that buy things for their game to buy more things. That is, I think King thinks people will spend more money to ensure that they win the gold.
This might be true for those people that don't mind buying stuff, but for the rest of us it is a big turn off.
I for one am playing less and less lately due to all the changes that make the game less appealing to play.
Gold is the one thing that every player needs lately. Due to the level design being designed to make you fail a level until you have to buy the 30-60 extra moves then every change that reduces the amount of gold you can win is designed to make you buy gold or leave the game.
