Hi!
Just like the title says, is this part only to compete in the Leader board for the Lollipop Hammers?
I don't have a step event for collecting a certain amount at each point for various boosters like in the orange part, but the information says about winning lots of boosters so I'm a bit confused!
Same here @itsEmma. I can't complete new levels quick enough to stay in the top three. To be perfectly honest I am bored of collecting purple/orange/or whatever colour as that is all we have been doing since the start of the All Stars. Even though the name of the Event changes nothing else does, so it has become exceedingly repetitive and one event just blurs into another. I just play the game and mostly ignore the leader boards now.
I absolutely agree!!!!
Collecting anything to 'compete' against others is a complete waste of time and energy. (I think/hope that most people have realised that now!) That's why the individual in game challenges, are SO much better you just collect as you go and, if you can see you only need a few more candies to hit a target, it's worth doing it as you'll definitely get your reward.
This idea of driving yourself on, only to look at the leader board and see that someone else has suddenly collected thousands more than you (especially just for a Lollipop Hammer!) is absolutely pointless!
I couldn't agree with you more @itsEmma.
I understand that for some people Candy Crush is more than just something to pass the time, and that is a shame. Overall I am just glad that I have other things to do and people to talk to that stops me from being able to play long enough to finish at the top of a leader board in a match three game.
I must admit yesterday I was playing my game in the evening and I laughed when I noticed that I was going down the leader board as I played instead of up.
Pointless is a good way of describing it
Maybe they should try something new and give a prize for whoever is BOTTOM of the leader board! I'm a teacher and to avoid the child at the end of any line when the class are lining up being miserable, we call it "Lucky Last"
It might give some of us hope to actually win something!!!!!
