A brand new blocker: The Candy Filter
Options
Blockers need to do more than just take up a space on the board. They need to affect the flow of candies as well! Sure, your average Icing is gonna control the flow of candies, but maybe we could do better. Maybe we need a Candy Filter.
Candy Filter properties
Candy Filters prevent candies of specific sorts, such as Red Candies, from going any further. So in order to keep the flow of candies going, you’ll need to destroy the problematic candy that the Candy Filter is shutting out. The normal Candy Filter is indestructible, but there is a red version that can be destroyed by being hit 4 times.

Not sure I like this as an idea @Chocoguy. It sounds like your Candy Filter would create dead spots on the board which would quickly lead to not being able to make any matches. The constant movement of the candies is an essential part of the game.
Four hits is too many.
