It's June 23rd and that means only one thing in the world of Candy Crush Saga - it's the hatchday of our 200+-year old super-long lemonade-loving lizard lady, Denize!!!
You might be wondering how she'd celebrate this occasion. Let me tell you how I think she does it: Olivia the Octopus, known for her impressive baking skills, makes her a sweet Lemonade Cake (a pun on Izzy's home, Lemonade Lake) - with a toy legless figure of Izzy as she's seen floating in the said lake that's also the candle. (A recipe book titled Candy Crush: Cakes & Bakes does have a recipe for a similar cake, but with a fully limbless version of her as decoration and not as a candle.)
As Denize breathes fire like every dragon does, she can't blow out the candle with her mouth - she must instead waft out the fire with a fan. Then she enjoys the cake by biting into it (whether in whole or after being sliced), since her arms are too tiny and short to use human table utensils to bring them to her gaping, jagged jaws.
If you're wondering why Izzy's hatchday is on this particular day of year, I surmise that it falls within the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival season, and dragon boats were the inspiration for the character's initial legless and sea serpent-esque appearance.
