Race rewards math

I've been thinking about this for a while but only started tracking yesterday.

Currently there is a special where it's 18 levels for 1000 gold bars, but this issue happens with the normal 9 levels 100 bars too.

Today I finished with 9 other people and I got 100 gold bars. But if you do the math it should've been 111.

Yesterday I finished with 7 other people and got.... 100 bars. But if you do the math it should've been 142.

Something similar happened the day before.

While it doesn't seem like much, but if you add up the past 3 days I should be getting close to an extra 100 gold bars which is equivalent to $14.99.

What's wrong with this simple math this game cannot do for some reason.

Situation #1 - you finished with 9 other players, that means 9+1 players sharing 1000, correct answer is 100 (1000 divided by 10 players).

Situation #2 - you finished with 7 other players, that means 7+1 players sharing 1000, correct answer is 125 (1000 divided by 8), not 100 nor 142.
