I didn't get any bricks for finishing the race first

Can someone help me. I just finished the race first and it didn't give me any gold bricks. Here's a screenshot to prove it. You'll see that I just started a new area and I only have 1 brick. The second pic is me starting my next race and I'm continuing my win streak. There's 7 bricks in the 2nd pic because I bought some to get me through lvl 4071 since I wasn't awarded any from the race. Not sure what's going on. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Hi there. You could try contacting customer support with this. As you are a paying customer they might give you something back or a gift to help you along. You can do this in app by pressing on the cog wheel to get into settings and then the ? icon. Press on any question until you get to the "contact us" option. The first reply will be automated, but if you then reply to that you can send in your screenshots and get a response from someone who may help you.
The game is full of glitches, and this sort of problem you describe happens to other people as well. I would not actually recommend spending money on Candy Crush.
