I suggest you close the app. Check time and date on your device is correct, set to automatic. Make sure the app is on its latest update and that you have a good internet connection. Reopen the app. If this doesn't work maybe try closing you device and reopen. If you see the gold and are connected to to the internet you should be able to use it to purchase boosters or extra moves.
