Seem to have lost daily perks for a while now

Morning,
For the past few weeks I have only gotten the daily treat machine sporadically, the same with the chocolate box. Now I have lost the stars you get when you pass a level once a day. I play on my desktop through FB. This is really beginning to aggravate me. The other day I knew I only had one star out of the 6 left to get the reward, was a tough level, spent money to finish it, and never got the reward.
I also like it better when we got the rewards to hold on to instead of having to use them all right away.
