Hi all
Just got a new iPad, backed everything up from iCloud all ok, Candy Crush works fine but I’ve lost all my gold bars and friends. Asked King via email but not much help. Any advice welcome.

Gold bars are linked to your player ID, so if you email them back then customer support ought to be able to restore your gold to your account. It's best to reply to the first email they sent you, and just tell them that it hasn't solved your problem.
Failing that, have you still got the old iPad and is your gold and game progress still as it was on there? If I were you I'd play a level on the old iPad, save the game with my email login and then log in with the same email account on the new iPad. You ought to then have all your gold bars and progress synched on two devices.
Everything should have transferred. I have successfully done this with a mini iPad, iPad Pro and with my iPhone.
Did you have any saved boosters and did they transfer over? Also one thing about gold bars, if you won them (for example thru the episode races) those are not automatically saved by the studio. They are saving the items (gold bars/boosters) that you have purchased.
You might also try signing out of the game, restart your iPad and then sign in again and see if your friends and gold bars show up.

I don’t have old iPad. Gold bars were won not bought and all boosters (won not bought) gone. Bit naughty on Kings part not to carry them forward if that’s the case!
Will try and sign out and resign in to see if that works.
