Has game been altered

Been playing Candy Crush Saga for many years now and never complained about the game. It seems pretty obvious to me that this game has been altered. Currently I don't have the option of seeing ads to gain boosters and when activating a booster it does not respond like it normally should. Currently at level 14310 and I have been playing the same level for 3 week, it seems next to impossible to beat the level unless a purchase is made. Bear in mind that not everyone is able to afford purchases.

The game has changed over the past year or so. Unfortunately at these high levels the game has become pay to play for anyone who has no gold bars left, impossible levels have been put in to block players who do not spend money on the game. Of course not everyone can afford to make purchases, as you state, but Candy Crush exists in order to make a profit, like all business ventures. Nobody is forced to pay, because nobody is forced to play Candy Crush. Just quit, lots of others have done so already.

Thank you for the feedback. The video ad feature as all ads and promotional features is still a test feature in the game, which means that some of you can get Lives, while others can get Boosters or other items from this feature.

This also means that the video ads will not always be available and not found in all player's games or on all devices.

So if you at the moment are missing the ads in your game, just stay tuned and keep an eye in the game to see when the ads are back.
