Comments sent for approval.

Hi. I am fed up that comments are sent for approval if I do a simple edit action. I prefer NOT to post grammar or spelling mistakes. Hence, occasionally, I like to edit a post after it has appeared. EVERY time I do this it is "sent for approval". Just because I did one edit? WHY?

I would appreciate an answer from a moderator on this one.

Not a mod but I think if you edit more than 2 times it will go for approval. I await a real answer from a mod.

  • It’s weird because I had it happen and then tried making a new post and it was getting sent to approval as well. The comment was approved like two days later and it made zero sense in the context of the thread by that time.

    Hi ChristineπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

I am sorry to hear that you are having editor issues!! This happens to us also, but not when we try to "edit" the comments that were already posted!! Because, usually, when we edit the comments, we try to "correct" something, like you are doing right now!!

There were some words added to the editor system! If we try to add any of those words, then it triggers the filter and sends our comment(s) for approval.

I will report this to the Community Manager, so that, they can check what's going onπŸ€”

Can you please tell me which comments you were trying to "Edit", and provide the links? This way, it would be easy for the CM's to see what might be triggering their filter!!

Thank you and talk to you soon!

    Hi @cookiemaeπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

That is only when we try to "post" multiple comments within certain period of time!!

I have never had or heard this glitch while "editing" the comments that we have already posted!! Christine is the first player I have heard this issue fromπŸ€”

Hello and sorry to hear this happened again!

It can also happen if you are replying to someone by using the reply button and the person you are replying to has a lot of tags on their comments.

Either way @christinewupp, looks like your comment has been approved and we'll address this glitch with our provider.

Thanks for replying @QueenB and @PummyRaj . Yes, it definitely does happen when I use the reply function and then edit that post. If I don't use reply usually there is no problem with my post. So the "too many tags" theory seems plausible. It is when I then go back into a post I'd replied to to just change a "the" to a "them" , something simple like that which really should not make any difference, that it suddenly goes for approval. Definitely nothing to do with the words I use. I guess I'll just be more careful in future never to do that when I use the reply function. But it would be great if it could be addressed. Thank you!

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
