Hi there and welcome to the community. Unfortunately the game is full of glitches and you have hit on one of them here. It's always annoying when you lose a good win streak because of a glitch. I am afraid there is no way King can bring a win streak back, but you might be surprised how quickly you will win it back. Good luck!
