Mobile phone app?

All instances of Candy Crush on PC, both in the browsers and the stand alone application have changed to what looks like a mobile phone app style, a thin vertical playable window which has reduced the size of game to around 30% of it's previous size. Quite frankly this is abysmal and makes the game impossible to be played by the visually impaired. Is the game on PC likely to revert to 'full size' on PC any time soon I wonder? This is tearing the last remnants of sight from some people, personally, I now rarely play more than one game per day.

I don't think so. They don't have plans in changing it back. It's horrible, I agree. Please check out this post:

No I am afraid this is the new Candy Crush look. I believe the intention is to woo younger people into the game to play on mobile phones.

I' d suggest you add your voice to the complaints over in the Support Forum. Maybe if we get to 3000 posts they'll listen....
