Unfair practice? Are you forced to pay or play excessive times to pass a level?

I’m on level 10036 and occasionally I will buy gold to move ahead. Recently I have noticed I will need to play a level up to 40 times - when offered 200 moves for 10 gold - before it will let me win. When I reach 200 moves without buying I get through the level with ease. This says to me that because I have paid in the past the algorithm is expecting me to pay again. Frankly it’s ridiculous.

does any one else have this issue and a solution?

Thank you for the feedback and I understand your feelings. Some difficult levels require boosters and moves to complete them. I get free boosters or Gold bars from playing Events or Challenges

From what I read here it is happening to everyone. A lot of players who never spend money on the game also find they are stuck for days or weeks on a level. I doubt it's because you spent money. They have made some levels, notably the legendary ones, impossible to pass without a lucky board, and the lucky board, well the algorithms King put out control who gets it. 40 tries is not unheard of. In fact you are lucky to get a lucky board at all. Your perseverance pays, obviously.

It’s ridiculous. It used to be once in a blue moon but for the past month it’s almost every level for an episode then it’ll speed me through an episode in a set of lives then back to 2 levels a week. Once it becomes tedious - like the ballache that is Royale - you give up and in the end they lose a customer
