Progress is not sync despite having King.com account

Hello,

I’m playing Candy Crush Saga on my iPhone and currently at level 3513. I have created a King account and signed it in on Candy Crush Saga app on my iPhone.

Lately I’ve installed Candy Crush Saga on my iPad. Upon opening the game for first time, I chose the button “Retrieve my progress” and sign in with my existing (and the only one) King account. However after signing in, the progress on iPad is only at level 11 while on iPhone it’s still 3513. I did see that the amount of Gold Bars are identical between two devices.

It appears that the progress was somehow not synced. I understand that all power-up items are locally stored and that’s fine for me. But according to all your documentations, progress should be synchronized when using King account, but I don’t see that.

What can I do to get my progress on iPhone appear on iPad? I don’t want to opt-in for linking with Facebook though.

Thanks a lot for your instruction. I’ve tried them and here’s the result that I observed:

I’ve tried to play on my iPad to level 12 and quit CCS. Then opening it back and I saw my user avatar is now placed at level 36.
On my iPhone, I’ve been continuing to advance the progress and I’m now at level 3554.
Today I opened CSS on iPad and noticed that the avatar is still being placed at level 36, but when I scrolled up the map and saw that actually I could continue to play at level 68. I tried to place a couple levels up to 71 on iPad, then exited the game and opened. Now is the weird thing: the avatar is still stuck at level 36, although the progress has been opened up to level 71.

Clearly there’s something stuck here. All the Gold Bars I’ve earned during play time on iPhone is synchronized correctly, only the level progress is not.

I’ll try with the support link. Thank you again :)

Hi @penguin_penguin and welcome to our friendly community. I actually play both on an iPhone and a mini iPad. You are correct - the level for both games should sync. Have you tried playing a level or two on your iPad - sometimes it takes a little bit for the game on sync on the two different platforms. If that doesn't work, exit the game on your iPad and turn it off for at least 15 seconds, then go ahead and restart your iPad and open CCS and see if your levels have synced. If not - play a level and see if that helps.

If for some reason the levels between the devices still don't match - then contact the Player Support team here and let them know what has happened and have them update your progress on your iPad and hopefully from that point on they two devices will remain synced.
