Game frozen after watching 3 ads, no response clicking on the button

I watched 3 more ads and the return to this screen, usually I just click on the Play button then can continue to play, sometimes it would stuck for a few seconds then I could click, but this time 6hourd passed still cannot.

The button is still bouncing now, but just no response when I touch it. I know kill the app would work, but I don't want, I will lose the strikes.. For now I just keep it alive at background hoping it will reactivate..

My device is iPhone 11 Pro, ios just upgraded to 16.6.1 like 2/3days ago, also the app is updated. I couldn't tell my userid now because I am still waiting the frozen screen..

Actually this is not the first time encountering this issue(also not always will happen) but when it happens at a stage that in long win strikes it would be very desperate.What I hope is if this thing happens again, I could recover the progress after I restart the app.

Hello @rossyprs and welcome to our friendly community! I am sorry you are experiencing this. I play on an iPhone 12, but I currently don’t have the ads feature. I had ads for several months then they disappeared about 5/6 months ago and haven’t come back.

However I have had the occasional game freeze. I understand why you don’t want to reboot your phone, but that may be the only solution.

In future it is a good idea to reboot it every few days so hopefully this won’t keep happening to you. In fact as soon as you experience that delay in future, once you can get your extra moves and booster, finish the level, then exit the game and turn your phone off for at least 15 seconds before starting to play again.
