Very recently, the game's Facebook page posted a picture of Tiffi in a Sherlock Holmes-style detective disguise to ask about players approaching the newest levels - but I sense something VERY wrong with this picture...
As you can see, it unnerves and highly concerns me that Candy Crush Saga's PR team had the nerve to show a young girl in possession of what is indeed apparently a tobacco product. We all know that tobacco is absolutely harmful to anyone of any age, and I personally do not think this picture is appropriate to post by the game's PR/SM (public relations/social media) team. Please investigate how the PR/SM team came up with this idea and ask them to think twice about what they post. Tobacco products should have no place in a sweet game such as this, including marketing and social media.
Hi Snake,
I agree with the other players and their comments. The pipe was part of Sherlock Holmes and his overall character. Aside from his investigative skills, the pipe "completed" him. I do not believe for one bit that the design team from king intentionally put it in her hands to promote tobacco and/or smoking (since their games are for all ages). As for the storyline of the game, the developer (and their teams) are usually the only ones that control what gets added or taken out. Of course king welcomes ideas, comments or feedback, but do you truly believe they'll remove or change a character in the game because it is offensive to a player?
You know? Just saying 😁
