Is It Me Or Is Every Level Hard Now?

I'm well past level 14,000 and it seems like my playing ability has tanked lately. For awhile, I was winning every race and cranking out levels at an amazing rate. I truly believed I'd get to a point where I caught up with the latest available level. I no longer believe this can ever happen.
At some point, I reached a point where even the basic levels were so hard that I needed gold bars to get through them. I expect to be fully out of gold bars within a couple of weeks and then I'll have to stop playing. Has anyone else experienced this?

A few months ago I started a new game from level 1 and I'm now at just over 6000. in my experience of playing the early levels you don't stand a chance winning unless you use starting boosters and a full win streak or pay for the privilege of passing a level you get stuck on. The game really cranks it up a notch in difficulty from around level 4500 where they incorporated blockers into the game from levels much higher on the map. So its not just the higher levels that are difficult/impossible but all the levels from about 1000 have been manipulated/ changed to try get as many players as possible to spend their money on gold bars and extra moves.

@Michael917 I'm well past 14700+.
It's so not your game play or your strategy to win any of these levels. It's AI that controls how and when you pass each level. King is wanting you to spend real $.
Just be patient, and use your boosters and gold bars wisely. You'll get through it.

I am currently testing theories on why it is that I have been winning all my episode races in three different logins (level 800+, level 2500+ and level 14,000-15,000) whilst many other player never seem to make it. We now know that we are not racing against each other, so EVERY player has a chance to win, but how? I'll keep trying to crack that algorithm as the episode race is the best chance to earn gold and get enjoyment back into playing. I'll be posting my findings if I figure it out, but that is an "if". Have you won any episode races recently? How long did they give you until you failed, i.e. the first player crossed the finish line? I'd be interested to hear, as you are near the top of the map. @christinewupp I'm currently closing in to win this episode ending at 14750. I've been on this one for 3 days now. I'm in 1st and can't believe those people haven't won it yet.
I don't remember the last time I won an Episode. Maybe 4 Episodes ago?
It is what it is. I'm down to 5 Gold and maybe Tuesday I'll pass this Episode! Hopefully sooner, Lol
BTW, I just can't resist posting to try and help people. 😸 It's pretty much in my character to do so.

@christinewupp Just won it. YAY! Had to use alot of boosters on 14749 which is a Nightmare Level. I wanted out of that Episode that bad!
Next Episode is going to be a bear...8 levels of hard, super, nightmare, legendary. I'll wait to start it when I get more Gold Bars on Tuesday.
