Dislike it! I find it distracting and would prefer a more focused gameplay experience without the presence of other players on my map
Don't care to play with strangers or bots! Like many others, I would rather see my friends on the map and also would like to see the leaderboard. why why why was the leaderboard removed?
Placing random players on the map absolutely cannot take the place of playing against the people on your friends list

Indifferent! I don't have strong feelings about seeing other players. It neither enhances nor detracts from my enjoyment of the game
Why would I care about seeing fake avatars on a map? Thankfully I don't have this forced change yet.
Nothing can replace the leaderboard in terms of fostering competition and "team spirit." It was the whole essence of the game.

There is @penken. If you tap on their avatars, you will see information about them and, at the bottom, it says "Add Friend", which you need to tap on.

I don't think that works for everyone yet Christine, think it's still being worked on. I tap away and nothing happens. I have received a lot of friends requests though so obviously working for some. It's a shame that it doesn't also give their Community name as it would be nice to know who they are👀

Sorry,Carol, didn't realise that, for once, I wasn't the last to get a feature!😃 I agree that it would be nice to see their Community name and know who they are, but there will probably be a lot of anonymous King players.

I must say that now that one of my two games has been included in the Player Card feature I am warming up to those random players. In my Sunflower game I can click on the icons and find out where they are playing from and how many levels they have passed and also if they give lives to others, so it is kind of a nice incentive to befriend others. In my Echinacea game nothing happens when I tap on the icons. I think the player cards are a promising feature, so I hope they'll roll it out to everyone soon.

I'm guessing Christine there will be quite a few that won't want all their info shown so will use the privacy feature. I'm not sure I agree with what King are doing here, but that's just me, Mrs Private.
