How do you avoid feeling bored by candy crush?

This game used to be fun, now all I feel is a rat in a cage and to be honest when I really think about it, it alittle insane. To get all worked up over a game, and what was really won or lost? It feels more and more like a waste of time and cringy to me. Mabe its time to quit. Anyone else feel this way? Like it's not worth it anymore, empty and soulessly addicting?

I have checked on my daughter's iPad and my review is there. I guess the App Stores for Apple and Android must be separate, that's a shame.

Don't play for too long and don't play every day is the best way of avoiding boredom.

Also try not to take the game seriously. That is, don't get caught up by the Events and features that require the collection of lots of coloured candy. I find that the aim of most the game's features isn't to benefit the player and nothing in your game will change if you ignore them.

Yesterday and today I received a 30 minute Colour Bomb from the Treat Machine. I just sent all my friends lives and closed the game each time as I didn't have 30 minutes to spare. That's the kind of thing I mean about not getting sucked in. Don't fall for all the tricks that get you to play longer than you want to and you might find you are less bored by the game.

If it isn't fun, relaxing and if you are bored by it, of course it's time to quit! Why would anyone keep playing?

Your description of "empty and soullessly addicting" is the perfect way to describe this game, I love it! I might put that term into my next app store review when I change it, with your permission (I would have changed my outdated review long ago, but I am on the front page of the UK app store reviews and I fear losing that spot).
