How is it fair to lose my progress on daily treat machine when i’ve been playing the game every day?

I have been playing the game every day for a while and my daily treat machine was at 30. the last couple of days when i have gotten on the game (in multiple locations so it’s not just the wifi or service) and the daily treat machine hasn’t been showing up when i open the game. now today when i get on the game the daily treat machine immediately pops up and kicks me down the 15. how is it fair that i’m losing progress when the game is the one messing up and not showing me the daily treat machine?? it’s not the first time this has happened to me and it’s getting annoying
