I've played this board, I even ran out of moves, used gold to buy more moves, and then used more gold to buy even more moves, and yet I still can't get the last yellow one to spawn? What am I missing??

Just to note - I have completed it now, pretty stupid level in all honesty.
That is an interesting question you have here. To illustrate I show my starting board here.
There are seven lucky candies and the order for the yellows is only five, so if all the lucky candies get turned into yellows, as they should, then you'd easily have enough. I suspect that three or them got swallowed up by the chocolate in your game before turning yellow. I think if the chocolate swallows a yellow candy it will count in the order. However, if it swallows the purple or orange lucky candy before you matched it to become yellow, then nothing happens and that lucky candy is lost. I find it quite hard to recreate this, but if on the board above I started with a colour bomb and hit orange with it on my first move, then the chocolate might swallow up the now uncaged orange lucky candies, especially if the liquorice is not removed first, because then the chocolate would have nowhere to spread to, but the lucky candies.
Tough luck @hotshot18 , but really, what a waste of gold bars! If what you need to pass is not visible on the board it is never a good idea to pay to play on.
