I had almost 300 gold bars and all of a sudden, they are gone. Where did they go?

Did you make sure that you have logged into your own game account?
Do you see a tiny spinning circle where your Gold bars are supposed to be? Interruption with internet connection sometimes show as if we do not have any Gold bars in our game.
Try this --> log out of your game - close the App - shut down your device for few minutes -- turn it back on after about 10 minutes or more - reopen the App and log into the game - see if your Gold bars appear back.
