I have tried going into the settings and logging in to my account and changing my name but it still does not reflect the changed name. I have done this multiple time over few months with no luck.

Just wondering! Would you like to change your name in Candy Crush Saga? If so, there is an easy way to do that!
Click on your “Profile” icon at the top of Game Map screen
You would see a pencil/crayon icon & click on that. You will be given option to change your name.

The steps I gave above works only for the game but not the Community Profile.
This does not work, when I go to my profile it says I don’t have permission to change my name!
