It looks like they tried to make a decent chocolate level but screwed it up. The chocolate was behaving as it should, though. The dark chocolate can only grow as thick as the thickest piece on the board. I guess they could have fixed the level by adding 1-2 chocolates that are three or two layers thick. Apparently, in their view, that would make it not challenging enough. But could they just have increased the chocolate order then? Yes, they always, always fix things in the simplest (read dumbest) way possible 😡
Speaking of AI-generated garbage, I wonder if you ever saw my exchange with Queen B about the one new level where we had to let chocolate grow… and the AI messed it up. King's "fix" to that level was to remove the chocolate order. I was so angry! All they had to do was make the dark chocolate behave like dark chocolate and it we could have had a decent level. Their fixes always mean replace everything with frosting!
If a human actually looks into this, I am sure they won't fix the level but instead replace it with AI-generated garbage. On the other hand, I think that a major game overhaul is being done, and all levels will eventually be replaced.
You're probably right. I was just assuming the fish would help. I'm not scrolling back to it to try it. But if the fish don't aid then someone needs to look at this level.
On the other hand I've just noticed all the Star Tournament levels have had moves removed. Every single one of them it appears. As these are taken from the mid range of the game I suspect that King's "helpful AI" has been programmed to remove a number of moves across the board in the mid range to make sure players actually do buy extra moves and spend their gold and money. Reducing moves to 25 for level 9294 may be part of the bigger drive to make this now a pay-to-play game.
I'm not sure about it @christinewupp. It still requires 35 dragons and drops one dragon per move, so I don't know how it can be passed in less than 27 moves. How quickly you release the eight dragons that are on the starting board doesn't matter much. I can't pass it no matter what I do.
Don't worry too much @Sarabara What you have found here is an older thread which is from the days before the jelly fish helped us pass levels like this one. It is now possible to pass in 25 moves if King send you some jelly fish to help with this. If you persevere you should get lucky. Good luck!
It has now dropped to 25 turns and I’ve been stuck nearly three weeks. After years of playing this could be the level that makes me delete the app🤷♀️

I suspect you are one of the players in the fish lab testing group @Glenfiddich01. I do not see this feature in my game but have heard that players in this test group create a fish if the combine a 4x4 square of same colour candies. King must be testing if, given this feature, level 9294 can be passed in 23 moves. Try to look out if the game will let you make any 4x4 grid of the same colour candy, which should create a fish, then the fish should go for the sugar coats, effectively putting Samantha the frog out of her job. The fish come later after about 5 moves or so. They help for the rhinos on the sides but still not enough moves to clear. Just strange that the same level has different moves..
I don't think this level is possible to pass in 23 moves @Glenfiddich01. It requires a minimum of 27 moves as we stated previously in this thread. The only way you can pass this is if you pay gold bars for extra moves. Please contact Player Support to complain: Go into Settings in your game (the small pink cogwheel) then choose the ? and scroll through the options until you see "contact us" at the bottom.
I don't see anything about fishes on your screenshot. Maybe I am missing something here? You did mention fishes?
@QueenB Are you still around and are you able to still talk to the studio to clarify what is going levels like this one? All this level needs is 27 moves. It does NOT need to be replaced by a boring smash and bash level full of frosting and double colour bomb combos. Keep the frog, keep the level interesting as it is now. Don't change it or dumb it down, just make it mathematically possible to pass. It just needs 27 moves.

Please could you post a screenshot of your level! I am particularly interested since this is one of the last levels to require use of the frog. Your board must be different as you mention fish.

It was 26 moves early January... now 23 moves.. They added a fish, but no matter what... cannot be done without paying for xtra moves... Time to leave this game and have fun...
I am glad I hit this impossible at the first of the new year maybe now I will finally quit playing this game and save time in my life for other things

This level is mathematically impossible to complete in 26 moves, regardless of the strategy.
The algorithm that governs this level uses a specific formula to determine whether to drop a dragon. The formula takes into account the number of dragons present on the board and the number of dragons left to be released. Originally this level had 27 moves, and the formula is designed to drop the last dragon on the 27th move.
We have previously reported this level, but King won't listen to us.
In the thread below, there was a more detailed discussion about this level.
To pass this level without buying extra moves, you will need the 3 bonus moves from a friend, as suggested above.
I agree with all of the above comments, I have tried eliminating the side dragons first and tried eliminating the dragons in the main board first; neither strategy gets you the elusive last dragon. Boosters aren't helping. Anyone figure it out?

Hello @Plicata I am not surprised you are stuck at this level. Normally I would advise players stuck on a legendary level to wait for a lucky board but I have calculated that with 26 moves there is no possibility of a lucky board and even in theory this level cannot be passed.
If you remove any candy from the main board one gummi dragon drops each turn. This is my starting board.
I played the level ignoring the dragons on either side and just concentrating on bringing down the dragons each move. This is my board on my last move.
If we assume I played a party popper to clear the board, and one more dragon were to drop on my this last move, then I would be exactly one dragon short. In 26 moves this level is mathematically impossible to pass even using boosters. It's proof how King have made the game a pay to pass game. You will have to buy extra moves to get by this level or hope to get the "3 extra moves from a friend" that I occasionally get in my game. Or wait until they increase the moves available because too many players drop out.

why is it you’ve basically made it impossible to pass levels unless the player pays for extra moves??? This game has become a joke! I’ve played the level I’m on about 100 times and never came close to passing if??? Is this just a money grab at this point because it 100% feels that way!!!
