The chocolate box issue is one of the things, that is being sticky!! The Candy Studio team have cleared it in October or early November! But, it came back again like you said in December!
They are aware about the issue and are working on it again!! Hope they will be able to fix it for good this time๐๏ธ

The issue continues to exist. It has now been 3-4 months. I have connection issue on both iPhone and iPad despite following instructions. Iโve also given up all of my saved lives and colour bombs etc by deleting and reinstalling the app. Itโs becoming quite frustrating.
