Thick blockers and jelly can be a problem for difficult levels, especially when one level may give out fewer moves for an increased challenge. One way to combat this is to offer up a powerful, but fairly expensive (as expensive as a Candy UFO, starting from 19 gold bars apiece) pre-level booster that buffs all special candy to deal double damage for one level attempt. This means that any blast from a striped or wrapped candy will deal 2 hits of damage to blockers or jelly tiles, and Color Bombs will also remove 2 layers of jelly below whatever candy they hit.
Think this can be a good pre-level booster to have?
That isn't the way the game works though @snakegore999
one level may give out fewer moves for an increased challenge.Β
The decrease in moves is a deliberate tactic by King to make a level more challenging. If they then introduced a booster that made it easier to overcome those challenges then the decrease in moves becomes less effective and more moves would have to removed to counteract your new booster.
Don't forget striped and wrapped boosters already hit twice in some circumstances.
