@QueenB can you please ask the team responible for the Gold Bar Growbot to show a little more common sense.
If King think a prize of 100 gold bars a month equates to a year's supply of gold how on Earth can they think that using 1200 gold bars (a year's supply worth) in six days makes sense to normal players?
Even the first phase of the Growbot that requires you to use 600 gold bars still equates to six month's of gold bars by King's prize standard.

Actually it's not as wild an offer as you would think. I usually ignore it in my regular game, but now decided to pay 1200 gold just for party poppers in my latest test game that I started in January. I already had earned more than 3000 gold by level 1416, so could afford to test it out.
For the record: You get all three prizes, so the three boosters and 100 gold back. Any regular player would be mad to spend their precious gold like this, so of course this offer does really only play into the hands of cheaters. I still haven't found a free way to get party poppers in the game. Now I have 76 of them! And I'm only on level 1416. Bring on All Stars! (Just kidding...)

I know how it works @christinewupp and that doesn't change the fact that for the average player (you aren't an average player) spending that amount of gold in six days doesn't make sense. In fact I imagine the average player doesn't even have that amount of gold.
Here is a figure that might surprise you. According to King on average each player plays for 39 minutes a day.
I wish they would go back to the orginial version of this feature as that made a lot more sense to both the average player and the not so average player.

A 40 min average is actually quite a lot of time.
That old growbot does look a lot better.
