I used a UFO and it didn't go to the area, which was the only frosting thing/blockage left on the level. It's like the game intentionally wants you to spend more money to complete levels.

Yes, that is so annoying. It is a very deliberate strategy of the level design to leave you just one short. Best to keep a lollipop hammer in stock for just those moments. There are some events in the game that do give out free lollipops, and they are precious for this situation. Have you got the Bash for Bars event? I think you can get gold bars to complete a level you are stuck on by playing this, collecting blues from any old easy level. You are very much right not to pay real cash! (If you have ads in your game then you will lose those if you do)

Ugh. I literally only had 1 frost left to complete the level with only 1 play left. I was frustrated I didn't back to the game for a few days. LOL

Still stuck on that level and I refuse to put in real cash to complete it.

@AyaJay Yes of course the game does intentionally want you to spend money! That is how King make a profit. I have myself found that recently the UFOs have become less reliable and less useful and sometimes go for the wrong area! I note from the Youtube video of this level that there are those purple rainbow twists on the board. UFOs now always go for those first, instead of frosting, and that is awful, because it breakes them up and makes them harder to clear. Maybe you still had one of those on your board, an extra one from a lucky candy maybe? My advice would be to never play a UFO while there is still any bit of rainbow twist on the board.
