There is nothing like a Monday morning to test things out: I still had the offer to start the grand special triple Candy Royale this morning at a quarter to nine UK time. Here are my screenshots. At 8.59 am
I turned off Wifi, just to be on the safe side. Candy Royale continues without Internet, throwing random players out and increasing my score.
At 9.27 am I still have the 1500 gold version.
I turned Wifi back on. At 9.33am my share has dropped. I have not obviously entered the 500 gold payout version.
I continue to get the reward, which is quite nice, but it is a share out of 500, not the 1500 the event promised when I started.
So I'm not complaining, but @QueenB other players have, repeatedly, and they will again! Is there no way to stop this nonsense of the payout in Candy Royale going down? The event was not due to finish for 13 hours. There must be a way to time the event so that the type you start with actually is the type you finish with. Please can the events team look into this?
Hi Christine @christinewuppπ€
The Candy Team were looking into it when we reported it last time (I think 2nd week of Februaryπ€)!
But, if you are still experiencing this glitch in your game and did not receive your deserved Gold Bars, please contact the Player Support team and request for your missing Gold Bars.
QueenB might not have received your tag notification (there is that glitch again)! I will give her a heads-up about your game and other 2 players'.
Thank you for your patience and have a great rest of the dayπ«π«
Thank you for your reply and for passing this on to QueenB.
I do wish to point out that I don't personally feel cheated at all: I think the final payout is fixed the moment you enter the event. Of course I have no proof of that, but when I have played the 1500 gold version to the end in the past I also got about 100-125 gold for the 21 levels, and I would bet my inventory of gold bars that the same would have happened this time if I had just carried on and finished the race before the event switched to 500 gold. My "share" would have just stayed at 89 for a few levels and then climbed more slowly to the same 125 gold, which then the game would have told me was a share with 11 other players. But I suppose that is just speculation.
