9000 bucks says... someone at King forgot about daylight savings :D A hour early is kinda suspect haha.
Many thanks.
The frustrating issue now is that the event icon is gone altogether, despite playing 2 levels and clicking map and event many times (usually these work), so there's no way I can tell whether Holly got to 2nd or top, worst is no way to claim rewards.
I double-checked with the other account (Jinshi) that I only played for 2 episodes, and stopped racing there, to conserve energy for Holly. The event icon is there and I got the results for Jinshi's leaderboard.
So the problem is with Holly's account?
Sweet Sailing until the problem began.
Thank you, Monica๐
I will add this to my complaint!
Hi @Pyrolight๐โโ๏ธ
Are you in USA? If so, the Daylight Savings time started only to us. But, other Countries - Sweden, UK and Spain (King Saga main locations) do not have the changed timings yet! They will change their clocks on March 31st๐๏ธ
Canada but close enough anyway.
Still suspect it is due to DST. A one hour early stop is super suspicious and who knows exactly how the timers work in this case. ie The timer still shows one hour since it is on standard time but the game locally says it is an hour later so triggers the event to "disables" itself.
Basically still someone at King not factoring in DST IMO but I will be curious to hear the reason.
As a programmer I can say date and time is pure pain.
Also DST is terrible.
I have reported about both glitches that Monica raised
1) Candies not counting;
2) Event disappearing in the last hour!!
@Pyrolight, Why did you think the event ended an hour early? For me to report, I need to show that exact comment to QueenB!
According to Monica's (below) screenshot, there is still one hour left in the clock! It was just being glitchy!!
Also DST is terrible.
Completely agree๐ถ
Ah sorry, in my case I am just proposing a theory, you can safely ignore anything I said as far as passing info along QueenB.
