Why is my game different than the one I go to online for help?
It's best not to spend real money on this game, I agree. Suzy Fuller's videos come recommended by others as well, but be aware that since those were made some legendary levels will no longer ever give you the right candies dropping that you see in the videos. The game is now designed to be played using boosters.
I would advise you to play all the events that give you free boosters without having to pass new levels, and save those up rather than waste them on this level each time you play. Sometimes playing the right starting boosters will trigger a lucky board, but unfortunately we never know when that will be so it's all too easy to waste all your boosters on a legendary level. Try using starting boosters on the next turn after the game lets you get close and offers you some "help" for your next attempt. Sometimes that is the right time to play those starting boosters, which might just help you pass. Good luck!

When you said “go to online for help”, did you mean the YouTube videos?
If so, those videos might be from last year or before! Please try to look for the latest videos that are created “months” ago! Sometimes, you might not find a video for your level(s) as the Candy Studio keeps changing the levels constantly and those YouTubers did not get a chance to post a new video!
Since you are using an Apple device, let me check my game and see how it is 👍

Your screenshots are fine, so I think you've handled the technological stuff well enough!
Apart from the cherries having changed to dragons like everywhere in the game your screenshot does look the same to me as this video posted a year ago and it is also the same in my game.
The only difference being that now this level is legendary so you are not likely to get a lucky board to help you pass it like Johnny got in the video. You will probably have to play some boosters to pass this. King change level difficulty from time to time by controlling which candies drop from the top. How long have you been stuck on this level? Do you still have any gold bars to pay for extra moves?
Body is too short?… I may be a newbie, but I’m old and don’t understand all this technological stuff.
