Bash for bars

This event we all love showed up in two of my games today:

Unfortunately my third game (the one that really needs the gold!) has not got this event. I have played a few previous levels to try to trigger events (and Season Pass came up as expected) but I did not want to start a new episode today. Can anyone tell me if it takes playing an new, unplayed level to trigger this event in our game? Who else has got this event today and did you have to pass a new level before it showed up? It is very, very tempting as 5500 blue for 60 gold is so easy to do! At least for anyone past level 1000.

Christine, just completed mine, Monica's account, Val doesn't have it.

Blue candies collected from any level, played or unplayed.

Ooops, mine was for 40 gold bars only, but still not bad.

I also got the lower-grade version of Candy Collection, no 3UFO bundle, just 1 UFO

I got Bash for Bars too and like Monica for 40. Yes 40 is still good but 60 would have been wonderful

Just waiting for my Chocolate Box to time down so I can start all over again

Thanks for answering @Carol-38 and @MonicaYellow . In fact after replaying level 6000 one more time it has now appeared in my third game as well, the 40 gold version but better than nothing. Great! Yes, the chocolate box is a nuisance. I also let it run down somtimes. The early rewards are quite useful and easy to collect. Have fun crushing!

Mine just appeared too for 60 bars. King really wants players to stock up before the big race. I remember one time it was 100, hope they bring that back.
