The Final Grand Misadventure

Or so I say.

21st? Meh start with the event proper.

28th? Lets go into the weekend hitting the 300s, that should be fun… So much fun I tossed that game into a dumpster.

1st of April? Ya lets actually do this on a Monday when the game is not in weekend fun mode.

Will be curious, not quite at 187, to see if I get the gumball or old levels. Three times now it has been the gumball ones.

Also comically ahead in my qualifier.

Interesting, today it went from 1/1/1/1 for the second bag to 2/1/1/1. I got an extra turn in it. I wonder if that is a change from an update or if the bags improve themselves as you get higher in levels

I have only made it to level 711 so far and am losing gold
unfortunately, but I might play a few more rounds today to try to get to
level 800 and hope that will then put me in a good position for the
next round of All Stars.

I was at good timing for that bit. On a Monday so the game was in easier mode. 801+ really does get a ton better. 711 to 800 is a little more of a … than I remember.

Are you suggesting that playing timed pre level colour bombs and wrap/stripe have a worse effect than untimed ones? Fishes of course, you only ever get one if they are timed, but I haven't
noticed this for the colour bombs and wrap/stripes, and that has been
my strategy so far to buy them and try to finish the episode in the half
hour they are active.

In my game unless you had a full win streak the game would objectively burn through 15-20 minutes of them on a super hard+ level. With a full streak, I have lost more times with two timed boosters than with a single non timed pre-level booster.It might just be my game but the timed ones are nearly useless.

Maybe I shouldn't as that is already 18 gold out of 40 gone. Also what
top win streak have you got in your game? Mine is the one colour bomb
version and it really hampers me in comparison to the 2 colour bomb
version I have in my games at 6000+.

Basically I have been ignoring timed ones and just using singular ones for nightmarish and legendary and it has gone decently. 1000+ has been more pushy with regular levels trying to break your streak without boosters but it has been manageable.

As for the win streak 3 turns, 1 bomb, 1 wrapped, 2 striped.

So far as expected 800+ is gold bar gaining time.

Since I have completely skipped bothering with time times boosters stuff has gone much better. Once you grind out a streak use normal pregame boosters as they objectively work better.

The second candy royal was a big one… 13 gold weee. Also I noticed, after about half the race the amount of gold you get usually does not increase by much.

Thankfully my orange keys are still orange enough. Likely a difference with people screens. Even still they are not that far from being mistaken for red.

Interesting, a 5 min UFO is on the second level for me. That means every 30 min you basically have 5 mins of UFO.

Actually I also have the strangely unseasonal Yeti in one of my games…. but not in the other.

But for that I seem to get the right colour keys in the one with the winter Yeti….

whereas Summer Tiffi has the wrong keys. Well, it all keeps us amused I guess.

Oh, and they both of them get 72 gold for playing 15 level Candy Royale….

Yes @Pyrolight the guess the colour of the key challenge is affecting a lot of people at the moment.

That orange key is in fact yellow.

Keys are the wrong colour still @Pyrolight Beware of the "red" ones, they are actually orange. You need to watch out for that in levels to come. Then again, the red keys are red as well, just so are the orange keys.

Just hit level 502 and got Candy Royale just as you promised… Sweet!

Just finished it and my first payout was 72 gold, not bad. That will come in handy for the tournament.

Music is fully back
Win Streaks are VERY strong atm.
Interesting change I noticed, keys are a deeper shade vs the candy in this game. Also there is no intro explanation for the locks, there used to be not that long ago.

Curious to see at 500 what complete misadventure I have with Candy Royal haha.

Anyway, while not all in this game, that makes

51-200 very much improved for flow and some of the worst levels toned down. Few issues with 2 levels.
187+ gumball machines to replace numerous levels. Mixed bag for results, better mechanic, Nightmarish and Legendary levels with them are harder than the old ones.
Keys updated with darker shade of candy color.

Music is sorta back... map and level music are all the new level music...

Comparing gumball levels to the old ones, only a few is there a real improvement from a design standpoint as a gumball level. Just as many if not more are worse.
Legendary levels on average are easier than Nightmarish ones.

There you are, playing through levels 1-100, 101-200 thinking what a nice game. Then you see an odd flaming skull @ level 205 and think to yourself what is that? You decide to click play and you can hear something when you load the level… it sounds like banjos? It is right then you realize what the game is really like haha.

All Stars music failed
Events did not pop up correctly, had to mess around a bit to get them to pop. More than just replaying an old level. Episode race took closing, playing old level playing 51, playing an old level, closing and playing 51 then playing an old level and it finally popped up.
205 is first legendary.
Timed pregame boosters are very ineffectual unless you have a streak going.
