Just completed 3 days of candy collecting events : new Top That and regular Gold Club, on top of Bash for Gold, Sam's Streak, Episode Races.
Top That , appeared in one account only, collecting blue candies in NEW levels.
Looked very attractive, with 250 gold bars, just completing milestones within 3 days, no need to compete with other players.
Well, at 1st glance only.
25 Milestones:
I stopped at milestone 22 which required 15000 blue candies for 8 Party Boosters
I have no idea how many blue candies will give me 250 gold bars. But for 50 gold bars at milestone 16, it wasn't that bad just a mere 2250 blue candies
Playing for Top That got me a high score for Sam's Streak, at 15000
Gold Club, collecting orange candies, x30 multiplier for new levels and Star Tournament levels. Played for 2 accounts only. The one playing for Top That, starting early, having completed 8 episodes got the top position with 50 gold bars, the other started 1 day later having played 4 episodes + a few Star Tournament levels got 3rd position.

@MonicaYellow I am so jealous…. I wish I lived in Singapore!
We get nothing here: No events other than All Stars. On top of that I'm sure they've made our levels harder to pass. The episode I have just played has been really horrible, not fun at all. Sunflower is rapidly losing gold and I don't know if she'll make it to stage 4 before running out.

My God the events outside of AllStars are so much better.
People complain they didn't get in allstars. I am pissed I did.
I think you just got a bad level setup for your newest game. Sounds like my original game I dumped. The levels were just constantly awful. 10-20 tries and nothing I am guessing.
My current game sounds like your game at that time. Things going more smoothly. 4-5 tries and a good, might not be fully lucky, board.
While I won't say this 100% confirms my theory about the seeds, it sure seems like everyone is playing different difficulties beyond just the day/episode.

I think I might have confused you with my various flowers in my post there @Pyrolight It's not the game at level 711 that is Sunflower losing gold, Sunflower is just past level 6500. I started it last summer in an effort to find out how far I can get without using any methods that might be deemed as cheating. I have now changed my test to see how far I can get into All Stars with that one, and this is how far I have got:
I am now down to 500 gold on this game, down from 3000 at my peak. The cornflower game I started a few weeks ago I have not started the 2nd knockout yet with. But I doubt that one will get very far either. We will see.
