Im in the 2nd knockouts but my hub is not showing and it doesn't show my progress on purple stars when I complete a level. I hope this glitch doesn't get me out of the competition

The HUB icon has been glitchy for many players! So, please do not worry about it's disappearance / not showing up in your game.
Did you win the "First Knockout" round?
If you are included in the All Stars Tournament, once you win a level (with Purple Star candies), your candy count will appear in the leaderboard at the All Stars icon in your Events folder.
