This is what I have to choose from in gold box. I can play 12 - 16 new levels or use a party popper. To buy one party popper costs 29 GB.🤣 I'll use a lot more boosters than I win if I play new levels. I guess that's what happens when you get farther along in the game and your skill doesn't matter and you, well me, almost always need boosters to pass.🤷
I don't usually get to claim the gold box since I need to play 15 unplayed levels to get it. I haven't been playing a lot of new levels anymore. I'm at 15,501 and want to keep some distance between me and the end of the map since end of the mappers always have a disadvantage in contests/events. I don't get events in that account anymore so I guess it doesn't matter.

Yes, I get the 20 gold version as well, in my game at level 900. And the great thing I saw today was that five minutes after finishing it and getting the 20 gold reward the next box came up, also with the 20 gold prize. I think this is an upgraded chocolate box! I hope it will continue to keep going like this!
I noticed the 20 gold bars for gold chocolate box in one of my accounts since last week probably (the one with ads). The other account is still 10GB. Maybe the basic box only gives 3 boosters?
Yes, I didn't finish in time because I wasn't going to play new levels to get rewards. Did we always get only 3 boosters? I thought it was 4.

I looked in another account and it has 4 in the bronze box.

It seems you didn’t finish the gold chocolate box in time so it returned to the basic box, then bronze … something like that. After you get the bronze, I believe the gold chocolate box will be there again.
I don’t remember if you need to collect several bronze boxes before the gold boxes will show (with 10 gold bars as one of the rewards).
