I would recommend this. Purple candies won't count until the next leaderboard appears. Be aware that there are three separate rounds to final knockouts and you must win all three, one after the other next week. That will be a lot of crushing, so take a rest from the game until Saturday.
Yes @Makinzie take a break until the 20th and just login to collect any boosters that you can.
