I qualified, But now It's gone

I placed first in the qualifying rounds. The icon in my events tab stated qualified, event in 3 days, etc til it got to 6 or 7 hours, went to bed expecting to start competing in the final knockout rounds 1/3 and could not get the icon to open. Played multiple games. Turned off the computer and came back multiple times … no luck getting the icon to open (it even disappeared after one open and close attempt, then came back after the next open and close attempt but would not open) … so I guess after all this work to do well in the tournament was for naught…doesn't look like I'm playing.

I am having the same problem. There was a quick message about the finale when I first logged it but accidentally closed it to quick. Not sure what it said, couldn't get it to come back and nothing in mail. Some help quickly would be nice.
