What to expect in the final round?

Hi all! For those that have participated in all stars before, what is the final knockout round like? I’m semi- new to the game- only was about level 500s when it started - now over 2500, and currently 1st in my group. I’m hoping if anyone has some pointers if I hold 1st and I move on, I feel like there’s so many thing I just don’t know.

1. If you qualify do you want to start right as round 3 starts, or wait a few minutes?

2. Do we know how many people are in ground 1/2 or 3?

3. Can you get more points by finishing the level the fastest/least steps, or more steps by using the most turns.

4. Any other tips/ tricks or advice you may have?
