I saw your post thanks but I saw just about the 150 gold version. Thanks, that's really helpful. I've got three days left, so maybe I'll be able to get there.

π Not really enjoying it, it could be better.
Wow, 15K blue candies for 8 party poppers. If you can get 150 candies for one level, it will be 2K/ 1 episode. I guess it will take 5-7 episodes or more. So, we can imagine 250 gold bars may require 20K blue candies. It feels more brutal than the 10 episodes event (Grand Prix something) recently.
Iβm not there yet, so Iβm not sure if I can finish the whole race within the time limit as I can only play 1-2 episodes in the evening during the week.

The above screenshot is from my friend. He finally gave up when he reached level 22. This task was indeed difficult.

π Not really enjoying it, it could be better.
Several gripes.
- New levels are harder and it's difficult to earn the blue candies needed as they are not multiplied when playing new levels. Wish we could play older levels for blue candies too.
- The amount of time given, I don't think will be enough to reach the top.
- I hate that it forces you to claim a prize as soon as you reach it. I rather be able to save and claim my timed boosters for when I actually want to use them. Also, too many pop-ups to click through and when you are in episode races, that wastes time.

Given the calculations posted above, to get to the top prize you'd have to crush more than my fingers can take. This is only a game for young people. If you have arthritis in your fingers, no chance. If you don't have arthritis (yet), watch out for you might get it from playing this game. I'll try to get to the party poppers. And I do like all the rewards along the way. It's a fun event but the 250 gold carrot you are dangling in front of us, that is a bit too ambitious.
