Why does the game end when they're are still moves available?
The number of moves you have to complete a level isn't the same thing as the physical moves that you make @Holly_Belle_2010
If you let chocolate (for example) multiply too much it can take over the board resulting in you not being able to make a move to match candy even if you have moves left.

Unfortunately, this is one of the glitches some players are experiencing! Right now, there is nothing you can do but replay the level 🙃
But, if you can tell me which level it is and provide a screenshot, I will be able to report to our Community In-charge and they can send it to the game team to check.
