Alienscar, you'you're right. For awhile I had thought I would love a chat feature, but when I think about it, too distracting. I don't like people I don't know wanting to know my personal business and vice/versa. Too awkward and potentially destructive. Better to not be bothered by it.
Personally I would hate to see a chat function in Candy Crush. It isn't a strategy game, or esport, or team event it is a single player game. The people in our leaderboards aren't our friends that want to chat about personal stuff.
